The Real Jackson “Baby Daddy”? The Dermatologist! And Cops Like Him for Prescription Fraud

by Diane Dimond on June 30, 2009

Mom and the King of Pop - but not the Pop of the Kids

Mom and the King of Pop - but not the Pop of the Kids

Those of us who’ve covered the Michael Jackson beat have long known that Michael Jackson’s children are NOT biologically related to him.    I’ve been saying that on national television since the death of the King of Pop.  I think the kids now deserve to know their true lineage. A few of us reporters actually knew the identity of the sperm donor who entered into a three way agreement with  Jackson and Debbie Rowe to create the two oldest Jackson children. On Entertainment Tonight and the Insider I challenged the sperm donor to come forward and help out the children since biological Mom Debby Rowe seems disinterested in them. Today the latest bombshell in this fast moving story….Us Weekly Magazine and a team of reporters and editors had the guts to go for it.

Dr. "Baby Daddy" Klein

Dr. "Baby Daddy" Klein

The kids real daddy is Michael Jackson’s long time Dermatologist, Dr. Arnie Klein.  Oh, and BTW, the long time nurse at Klein’s office was Debbie Rowe.  That’s how all three of them came together in the first place. Today, US Weekly Magazine and reporter Ian Drew had the guts to go for it and reveal that the REAL baby Daddy of Prince Michael and Paris Katherine is none other than Jacko’s long time dermatologist – the man who invented his favorite skin bleaching cream – Dr. Arnie Klein….

Though Michael Jackson was wed to Prince and Paris’ mother, Debbie Rowe, their biological father is Arnold Klein, Jackson’s L.A.-based dermatologist and Rowe’s former boss, multiple sources confirm to the new issue of Us Weekly.:He is the dad,” says a Jackson insider. “He and Debbie signed an agreement saying they would never reveal the truth.” via News – EXCLUSIVE: Dermatologist Is Father of Michael Jackson’s Kids |

Klein has always had a lucrative Beverly Hills practice – he doesn’t necessarily need the money that would come with custody of the children – and as far as I know he has no connection to the third child known as “Blanket” – but hey, who knows? But Klein probably isn’t quick to jump into the custody fray for several other reasons.  First his gay lifestyle would have to change dramatically if three kids (or even two) suddenly came on the scene. And maybe more immediate in his mind:  The cops like him for one of the doctors (if not THE primary doctor) who wrote all those prescriptions for Michael Jackson’s narcotics  over the years.   Klein lawyered up shortly after Jackson’s death.  He’s closed his practice for now and is set to talk to the cops (if he hasn’t already – timing in L.A. L.A. Land is always mercurial) My sources tell me Klein had devised a whole prescription scheme for his most famous client.  Using the random name of Jacko  friends, bodyguards or just made up names Klein would call in prescriptions to Mickey Fine’s Pharmacy right there on the premises.  All of the prescriptions were then charged to Michael Jackson’s account.  Fine sued Jackson back in 2007 for a staggering $100, 000.00 dollar unpaid balance for prescription drugs.  Its reported that Jackson paid for 48 thousand dollars in drugs in just one month. Yep, he may be unmasked as the Baby Daddy now – but Dr. Klein has a whole lot more to worry about than that. Oh, – and BTW – I don’t think that report on TMZ about Debbie Rowe NOT being the mother is correct. See more of my Jackson coverage at

So what if its not his kids…. he was a dotting father… he provided them with anything they wanted… you ppl are just jealous… he has his fans more than haters!

Bebe July 5, 2009 at 11:15 pm

I don't think that what MJ did was OK, but with that type of reputation of being a child molester, parents continued to send there children to Neverland. Shouldn't the parents be insulted also for being so stupid. I know that I would have stopped sending my children there.

Facebook Friend Doug Parker writes:

"Keep digging Diane. It looks like the garbage pile for this one may never end. Nothing else about Michael's version of things was real, why should fatherhood be any different? If it is acknowledged by the pricipals involved that you are right, do the kids lose rights to inhertiance? Actually they would be better off being related to Dr. Klein rather than to Michael Jackson.

Do you know anything about Paul McCartney making a move to buy back the Beatles song catalogue? A reporter asked him about about a month ago and all he said was "Shhh!". Keep up the good work. Many folks are counting on you, as one of the few remaining journalist left to uncover the truth. Thanks for not accepting the propaganda and looking the other way."

monica July 1, 2009 at 8:00 pm

Its very funny how all the comment have to be cleared how dont you allow the ones that you get from fans that hate you up on your website. You just post comments about how people think you report the truth. oh well if that make you feel better okay. whatever but michael jackson fans are better

DianeDimond July 4, 2009 at 7:00 pm

Monica – you're obviously not reading all the comments. ~DD

Frank F July 7, 2009 at 12:09 am

Dear Monica:
Get someone to read this note to you because English obviously is not your primary language. That, or you're a complete ignoramus; you had six misspellings and five punctuation errors in a mere four sentences. MJ was a great entertainer, a prescription, drug addict and a desperately sick man. Anyone who tries to elevate him beyond that obviously hasn't read Diane Dimond's book or her investigative columns. I doubt, Monica, you read anything but PEOPLE magazine; your lips would get too tired if you tried to read anything without pictures

Lili July 2, 2009 at 11:33 am

Diane, please give us a break! We don't wanna know your truth. How long have you been trying to tell us about Michael this things? In all this time you couldn't find anything for sure? So, why are you still here? Did he do anything to you? Why are you so angry with him? Get back to your life and calm down. If you have any proof, come and show the world what you've got. But if you don't, please get some.

Will July 4, 2009 at 11:36 am

Over the years while covering Jackson……you constantly said "your sources" told you
this and that. Frankly, your coverage was suspect from the beginning. Jackson was
found not guilty in a court of law. Your still trying to convince people …….and it does
not make you look any better. Why can't you let Jackson rest in peace for god's sake,
leave him be.

DianeDimond July 4, 2009 at 6:48 pm

Readers: I will continue to print comments that are not flattering to me as long as they don't contain profanity and outright lies. I'm not able to post all of them but as regular readers know I am not afraid to post those who do not agree with me.

Sandy July 2, 2009 at 2:12 pm

Again thanks!!

How can it be that people in this country are worshipping a child molester while soldiers are dying for us!

Please people, remember the real heros' of this world!

cocodeevah July 3, 2009 at 3:57 am

If you kept up with CNN in the last 2 days you will see that the child that accussed him back about 5 years ago came forth this week and said his family told h im to lie and that Michael never touched him! Thank you very much!

DianeDimond July 4, 2009 at 6:56 pm

This is not true. I don't know what CNN reported but I know there is an internet campaign out there (which I traced back to the Michael Jackson web site) spreading the erroneous report that the second accuser has recanted his allegation of molestation. Nothing could be further from the truth. He has done no such thing – and it underscores how one should NOT believe everything they read on the internet. ~ DD

James July 5, 2009 at 10:01 am

Those soldiers are in countries they have no business to be in. You invade other countries, and then you talk about soldiers dying? What about all the innocent people who are dying due to your illegal invasion of those countries?

And Jackson was never convicted for being a molester, so just stop talking crap.

Vicky July 3, 2009 at 7:08 pm

Diane, I am from the UK, and have heard your name associated with the Michael Jackson case. I just get the feeling that you didn't helphis cause did you?
Perhaps he was taking prescription drugs because of your slanted reporting.
Maybe you and Martin Bashir another creepy slanted manipulator???
In fact there are many more names that I could call you, things that MJ had to put up with.
Oh forget it, goodbye !

Lyn July 5, 2009 at 3:06 am

Dear fellow UK person (I am from there but live here) – how have you got the nerve to blame Diane for anything?? She is a reporter for Gods sake and a damn good one at that. Can anyone please tell me why Diane is supposedly to blame for all this???? I have never heard such crap in all my life! I am sick of hearing negative comments…please get your facts right. Unfortunately, Michael Jackson fans (and I am one I might add – his music is unforgettable) -on the whole – seem to have tunnel vision for some reason. I know it is hard to know what to believe…but lets say this….dear fans of Michael – why oh why was Diprovan in his house???? This is a drug only to be administered in hospitals. I believe that Mr. Jackson unfortunately got what he wanted when he wanted it because…dear fans…..MONEY TALKS!!! I would think he is partly to blame for his own death but whoever administered these drugs needs to be punished. I hope one or more of these doctors are "going down"!!!! Vicky, I suggest you read up on Diane's work and perhaps read her "Be Careful Who You Love" book!! Ok, I've said my piece.

Mares July 6, 2009 at 5:39 am

Jackson was NOT found not guilty in the molestation cases, one of the cases he settled out of court for an untold amount. He admitted to sleeping with little boys, sorry, but there's no way that was innocent. This was a case of a wealthy and powerful man, getting away with criminal acts, and every one knows this. Unfortunately too many people are willing to look the other way, and not think about those poor kids. I'm sick of the entire Jackson non-stop news, but I appreciate Diane's reporting on the truth of the matter, because that is important.

a Singapore girl July 7, 2009 at 7:20 am

So what if he and Debbie Rowe aren't the biological parents? Lots of people engage surrogates these days for whatever reason. Why aren't these nice little middle class and/or yuppie-type couples denigrated for doing that?

Why are you picking on this point with MJ? You mean there's been no surrogacy in white picket fence land? Come on. Get a life.

Don Blair July 8, 2009 at 5:01 pm

Yes, he did pay some 20 million to buy off one molestation charge and narrowly won the other molestation case against him a few years later. Nice guy alright. A very sick puppy. Now the revelation that his arms were a sea of needle sticks…his body white from head to toe and he died bald and emaciated. Sounds like a totally normal, little boy lover to me. He was on a self-made path of self-destruction for years. A miracle that he lived as long as he did. What's next? His birthday a national holiday? Please. Enough!

GodisLove July 10, 2009 at 8:18 pm

Stop hating on the negative. What are you the media? What about all of the children he saved with his donations of millions?

And when will you jokers ever get over the cases? Old news…plus he was acquitted. Stop dragging his good name in the mud. You're just mad that people are praising him more than being hurtful like you guys. Regardless he will always come out on top.

And I would pay anything to have those two liars, especially the Chandler kid and his dad take a polygraph test. They were money hungry and they won. Just remember to all of the negative ones on here, what goes around…comes around. You will get yours for the negative words that you are spewing.

Nobody July 9, 2009 at 7:53 am

About "buying" his kids, do you have other suggestion for him to have his own kids? I don't see how, for a person in his position. It is so sad.

If you can't have kids, and has to adopt. Would you like reporters to dig and tell your kids who the real parents are for your adopted kids? It is not your reporters job to do that.

Don't do things to others, if you don't want others to do to you.

Leave the kids alone to have a normal life.

The damage done by the reporters to those kids (and to MJ) by following them all the time and dump trush on them is worst than jchild molesdation that you accuse MJ of.

DianeDimond July 11, 2009 at 3:24 am

Yes, I have suggestions. Michael Jackson could have gone through the normal adoption or surrogate procedures countless others go through if he wanted children. ~ DD

NoReporters July 12, 2009 at 8:48 pm

Can Michael really have a normal adoption or surrogate procedures? His life was not normal at all thanks to the reporters following all the time. He probably would be dead before he could get one adopted, and your headline or the legal procedure would say/question "child molestor" trying to adopt a kid. His 3rd one was a surragete.

The bottome line is that he was not allowed to have any private life at all, even in his later years when he was not really working that much. Reporters forget that he is a real human being and has feeling too.

His later years reminded me of a clown who still need to keep smiling in front of others, even though he was so hurt inside.

PKS July 11, 2009 at 3:18 pm

RUDE RUDE RUDE- you are not a journalist. NOT A JOURNALIST. Journalists don't say things like this- that is so unprofessional of you!

Cujo July 13, 2009 at 8:04 am

After the civil suit in 1993 I doubt Jackson had any chance of getting children via a legal adoption method. Wacko signed a statement admitting to inappropriate sexual contact with at least one young boy. Part of the reason for the huge settlement was to hush things up before the civil trial started. Anything presented as evidence in the civil trial stood a fair chance of being included in the criminal trial that Mr. Sneddon was preparing.

With the out of court settlement and a confidentiality agreement tied to the settlement money, Sneddon lost his best witness. Of course there were others such as Safechuck and Francia who were paid off and that wasn't hard to find out either.

Do you think any adoption agency would risk all the negative publicity in giving Jackson potential victims? That's possibly why Wacko went the route that he did and paid some ridiculous money to Rowe and others to hang on to these kids.

Is there any other person who would go to such lengths to claim such children were actually carrying his DNA given the children were as caucasian-looking as they are? I could see one of them possibly looking lily-white, although it's quite a stretch, if they were of Wacko's seed but all three? Not a chance.

Given the amount of narcotics and booze Wacko used in the last decade, I truly hope those children are able to recover from that creature.

MAK3211 July 13, 2009 at 11:24 pm

Are you insinuating by the the statement, " he is the inventor of his favorite bleaching cream" that Jackson did not have vitiligo? Because I am more than happy to send you early career footage showing his porcelin white scars. You can actually find LEGITIMATE pictures and video on you tube as well.

DianeDimond July 15, 2009 at 4:01 am

No, of course not. Jordan Chandler's description of Michael Jackson's body – and especially his private parts – made it clear Michael Jackson DID have vitiligo. The bleaching cream was used to smooth out the color discrepancies.

LJS July 14, 2009 at 7:12 pm

AND WHO CARES WHO THE BIOLOGICAL FATHER OR MOTHER ARE- Geezzz….do you guys all do this to your friends that have adopted or used surrogates? How terrible people can be- get a life and stop being so cruel!!!!!!

yzg1564 July 17, 2009 at 6:51 pm

I’m speechless! Who cares about who is the real father. He WAS the father! How many people adapt children and nobody say anything bad about it. It makes me sick to see that people more in to something negative. No one talks about how generous he was. Info is not reliable from you Diane. I remember all these tricks from you starting from Hard Copy. I really don’t understand the hate that you live with toward this man. He’s gone already! Now it’s time to ask God for forgiveness! People like him would never live long among us because with our abnormalities that we turned into norms, we consider them to be strange and bizarre. It’s very sad!

Suzan July 20, 2009 at 5:09 pm

I personally do not feel that there was enough proof to substantiate the accusations of molestation. I do however respect those that have a different view. I can say one thing. Yesterday I watched the special where MJ says: "It was my own sperm". I knew that was a lie, and now the chickens are coming home. I am disappointed that MJ lied to the 'world'…but after all, Peter Pan merely 'had to believe and wish' and it was so. Real life isn't like that. And it's very sad that illegitimate children are sought after and manufactured for monetary gain by those 'who got involved' in the sorted affairs. The whole family/situation sickens me.

Annette February 22, 2010 at 10:56 am

I really think Michael Jackson really hated himself inside..he was so pshcholocially ??? scarred by his childhood dragging around all that emotional baggage..Sure i agree he had a wonderful giving nature, heart of gold etc…by something tells me that by giving million to charity and such maybe he thought people would love him sorta like buying love…he probably thought after being abused no one could love him..if his own father didn’t he just didn’t like himself inside….love himself rather…

Gavin Saunders April 22, 2010 at 3:56 am

From my experience Annette those of us who are not able to identify or express our anger at those who’ve hurt us turn these emotions inward and it becomes self-loathing and often self-destructive. I truly don’t believe these people are the bad criminals or pedophiles of the world. If anything they have a heightened sense of empathy for others, particularly for those who are suffering. If they have the means, as MJ did, it would seem immoral not help. It would even help build your feelings of self-worth.
People to whom we ascribe as having normal feelings of self-worth would find it much easier to ask ‘what’s in it for me?’ or to look the other way.
Alas if there was more of the former and less of the latter I think the world would be a paradise on earth. Unfortunately that cannot be because the ‘healthy’ minded types can always justify putting themselves first, in the process causing pain for the remainder; eventually this exacts a toll on the weak and they eventually fade from this earth.
It is a wonder MJ held on for as long as he did. I put that down to his faith, a positive child-like outlook, the way he protected his creative core and all the support he seemed to appreciate so deeply from his loved ones and his hordes of die-hard fans.
It’s such a tragedy that we have become so jaded that we’d rather think the worst of others before entertaining the notion that some folks really are genuinely good. I don’t think he was consciously buying love, but he was trying to show another way to be.

Sarah Richards May 1, 2010 at 2:01 am

Look at what Dr Klein has gone and done now!! As I type this, news has just hit Australia that Dr Klein has confirmed that MJ was gay. Now sit back and what the proverbial hit the fan!! I’ll wager that before the day is out the accusations will fly. What was Dr Klein thinking? If he is so concerned for MJ’s kids why has he done this? These aren’t the actions of someone who purports to be “MJ’s best friend”. He surely doesn’t need the money!!
I’m not an MJ fan, 1993 saw to that, and I have always believed that he had ambiguos sexualty but this is a little tactless.

blythe May 14, 2010 at 10:19 pm

hi, im a mj fan , but i am not in love with celebrity ,what i am is curious, from all the testamonials i have listened to since mj died ppl who have spoken negatively and positively about him continue to puzzle me because i keep getting this uncomfortable feeling like there is something they are hiding or something we dont know. when they talk they give each other these exchanged glances like ,( if they only knew) type thing. and you seem adamant in your feelings against michael . im wondering where did that come from and if it came from kids testamonials or material you are hiding why dont you be forthcoming and show us. why let us be blindsided by what you call being in love with celebrity. i know what im talking about because when lisa went on oprah i got that feeling from them . im getting it from your articles and etc etc. is it a money thing why we are being kept in the dark or is there no light to be shed . please tell us. or stop making accusation and not backing them up. it is quite frustrating. and believe me i think there is something there and it aint the drug addiction. thank you for listening. ( a frustrated fan)

Diane May 14, 2010 at 11:08 pm

I had to smile reading your e-mail. You think I’m hiding something here on my web site about what I know of Michael Jackson? May I suggest you get on Amazon and buy my book? Not because I make any money on it BECAUSE I DON’T. Buy a used copy for, like, 1.50 or so …. or better yet, just go to your local library and check it out for free. I don’t hold back in the book about what I know – and I’ve been vilified and threatened with death by self professed Jackson fans because I wrote it. Most of them make it clear they haven’t even read it. Read it – then lets communicate further if you have additional questions. ~ DD
